Design and implementation of thermohygrometer based on Internet of Things technology for food storage and transportation
Main Article Content
Abstract
The objective of this work is to design and implement a thermohygrometer with the IOT platform applied to the food supply chain in the storage and transport stages. The connection was made through the I2C bus, which allows several devices to be connected in parallel on the same SCL and SDA pins of the ESP8266 microcontroller, initially the Arduino IDE software was configured, to be able to carry out the programming of said microcontroller, then the addresses were obtained in Hexadecimal assigned for the SHT31 sensor and the OLED display, the programming was carried out from the manufacturers' specifications, as well as the code provided by the developers of the required libraries, as well as the addresses in hexadecimal obtained previously. The data obtained with the SHT31 temperature and relative humidity sensor, in addition to being shown alternately on the OLED display, were sent to the specialized IOT server (https://belniksys.com/SensorsIOT) at intervals of 20 seconds, said data can be exported in A spreadsheet compatible with Ms Excel®, from the exported data the temperature and relative humidity curves were constructed, with which it is possible to determine the conservation or breach of the limits established for temperature and humidity in the storage and transport stages food.
